Activity & parcels

Review the activity attributed to a property and maintain its tax parcels.

A property consolidates everything attributed to it. The Activity tab is the running register of attributed documents; Parcels holds property-tax detail and supporting documents.

Example: retaining tax records

The annual tax bill for Maple Plaza arrives and is later paid.

  1. Open the property and go to Parcels.
  2. Add the parcel — parcel number and taxing authority.
  3. Attach the tax bill, and the proof of payment once remitted.
  4. The records remain with the property for reference and the following tax year.

Reviewing activity

  1. Open a property and go to its Activity tab.
  2. The register lists documents attributed to the property — both those tagged directly and those tagged to spaces or other trackables beneath it.
  3. Sort by date, amount, or status, and filter to narrow the register.

Activity aggregates over the property's subtree, so a document tagged to "Suite 200" also appears on Maple Plaza's Activity tab.

Tracking parcels

A parcel is a tax parcel maintained for property-tax tracking and document retention. It is a record-keeping construct and does not post to the general ledger.

  1. Open the property and go to Parcels.
  2. Add a parcel and enter its detail (parcel number, location).
  3. Record tax detail — taxing authority, payment type, due dates — and attach supporting documents such as the tax bill or proof of payment.
  4. Save. The parcel is retained with the property.
