AcreIQ Documentation

Documentation for accountants, controllers, and finance teams running a commercial real estate portfolio on AcreIQ.

Welcome

This is the home for the accountants, controllers, and finance teams who use AcreIQ to run their day-to-day work — leasing, billing, the general ledger, and reporting for a commercial real estate portfolio. The guides are example-first and assume working familiarity with property accounting; they focus on how AcreIQ implements it.

Feedback and Questions

AcreIQ gets better every time you tell us where it falls short, so don't be polite. If something is confusing, missing, or just wrong, we want to hear it.

For product feedback and questions, email us at dolalde@sparkiq.io. Tell us what you were trying to do and where the app or these docs got in the way.

Start Here

If you're new to AcreIQ, work through these in order:

  1. Getting Started — a short orientation that follows one property through a full cycle, plus the core terminology.
  2. Properties — set up an asset and its spaces; this is the anchor everything else attaches to.
  3. Contracts & Leases — capture a lease, its terms, and escalations.
  4. Accounting — see how billed activity posts to the general ledger and flows into reporting.

API Access

AcreIQ exposes a REST API secured with customer-facing API keys, so you can integrate your own systems and automate workflows. Every endpoint, request, and response is documented in the interactive OpenAPI (Swagger) reference.

The API reference link currently points at the development environment. Update it to the production API host before sharing these docs externally.
