Properties
Assets, spaces, parcels, and the activity attributed to them.
A property is a real estate asset in the portfolio and the reporting anchor everything attaches to: leases, posted activity, taxes, and analytical reporting are all attributed to it. With the asset set up, the rest of the application has a segment to post and report against.
See it in action
You acquire Maple Plaza, a two-suite retail asset.
- Create the property "Maple Plaza" with its address and owning legal entity.
- Add Suite 100 and Suite 200 as spaces.
- Execute leases against the spaces; any document tagged to Maple Plaza is attributed to it in reporting and on its Activity tab.
- Record the tax parcel and retain the bill and proof of payment as attachments.
All activity for the asset is now consolidated in one place.

Managing properties
Create an asset and its spaces.
Activity & parcels
Review attributed activity and track parcels.
Key concepts
- Space — a leasable unit within a property (suite, unit, floor). Optional; lease the property directly where units aren't tracked.
- Parcel — a tax parcel for property-tax tracking and document retention. It does not post to the general ledger.
- Dimension attribution — tagging a document to a property is what attributes the activity to it in property-level reporting and on its Activity tab.
A property's Activity tab aggregates the property and the trackables beneath it, so activity tagged to a space rolls up to the parent property.
